Fathers & Father Figures
UCFC empowers, engages, and supports Fathers and Father Figures to strengthen connections within families and the broader community.
We are recruiting men for our Father and Father Figures groups. We engage with our partners to develop culturally responsive and multilingual father-friendly environments and learning sessions. Contact Imelda Rivas at the Union City Family Center for more information on how to participate:

We promote both father-friendly and father-specific programming for families. We seek to remove barriers that prevent fathers from fully engaging with their children, school, and communities. UCFC implements Father-Friendly Principles, as outlined by the Alameda County Father Corps, a collaborative effort of First 5 and the Alameda County Health Care Agency.
