“UCFC is a central hub where families can receive essential services.
It is uniquely positioned to serve students and families while filling the gap of needed services within the city limits."
— Alameda County Social Services Agency, Policy Director
Since 2012, the Union City Family Center (UCFC) has improved the lives of more than 25,000 individuals. We collaborate with more than 40 agencies to provide services to students of the New Haven Unified School District along with vital supports to individuals and families. For more information, review our annual reports, strategic plan, and more reports and information here.
Neighborhoods Ready for School
UCFC is honored to participate in this place-based initiative launched by First 5 Alameda County. Launched in 2018, this high impact model supports equity and neighborhood-led investment, programming, and policy related to early childhood development, family health and well-being, and kindergarten readiness.
