Marcus Lam has served the New Haven community since 1998 as a teacher, site administrator, and district level administrator. He's been blessed with the opportunity to work with students, families, and the community in a variety of ways that have provided him with the experiences to help lead the UCFC. He values the relationship between families and their schools and is excited for the opportunity to lead the UCFC in strengthening these connections and removing barriers for student success.

Jennifer Hawkins was awarded the 2022 Administrator of the Year Award for the Region 6 Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) on February 4, 2022. In November 2021, she was nominated by New Haven Unified School District as classified administrator of the year. Since 2021, she has been the Coordinator of the Union City Family Center, and began her work there as Manager in 2014. Prior to UCFC, Jennifer demonstrated passion for youth development, higher education, and youth/family/community empowerment with other nonprofit program organizations, and in school administration, and expanded learning environments.

Clarissa (Clare) earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development, with a minor in Asian American Studies, from UC Davis.  After working in early childhood education, the biotech industry, social services, and the dental field, Clare took some time to focus on raising her four daughters.
