Since 2012, the Union City Family Center (UCFC) has improved the lives of more than 25,000 individuals. We collaborate with more than 40 agencies to provide services to students of the New Haven Unified School District along with vital supports to individuals and families. for students, including direct interventions, such as home visits to support school attendance.

7000 Students
received academic and enrichment supports including summer and expanded day programs.

including vaccinations for youth and families, and vision and oral health for K-12 NHUSD students.

55,000 Urgent Living supports, including food, clothing, hygiene, and housing navigation and case management.

Neighborhoods Ready for School

UCFC is honored to participate in this place-based initiative launched by First 5 Alameda County. Launched in 2018, this high impact model supports equity and neighborhood-led investment, programming, and policy related to early childhood development, family health and well-being, and kindergarten readiness.
